Land Use Committee

The Land Use Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on all matters related to land use and zoning within the community district. The committee plays a critical role in ensuring that development projects align with the community's vision, benefit assessments, and zoning regulations. It may conduct public hearings on land use proposals and provide recommendations to the relevant authorities  (i.e., BART, AC Transit, OakDOT, etc) based on the community's input and interests. The committee is composed of community members, developers, and local officials who work collaboratively to balance the needs of developers with those of the community and ensure responsible land use practices.

The Land Use Committee regularly meets on the first Thursday of every month from 2:30pm-3:30pm.
