District Identity and Placemaking Committee

The District Identity and Placemaking Committee focuses on projects that market and promote the Oakland Chinatown such as: branding of the district, promoting our local businesses and nonprofits, public relations, newsletter, special events, streetscape issues including landscaping design and improvements to public spaces in the district, public art, promotional materials, social media and website management, etc.

We normally meet on the third Wednesday of each month
from 4:30pm-5:30pm PST.
